"Above all else, children need to know and feel they are loved, wanted, and appreciated. They need to be assured of that often. Obviously, this is a role parents should fill, and most often the mother can do it best." ~Ezra Taft Benson

*Update*

The doctor determined yesterday that it was possibly a viral infection that he was fighting off. He was a little on the dehydrated side and he was constipated for almost 72 hours until the big "blow out" this morning at 9:30 and again this afternoon at 1pm~ish. After the first poo... He was back to his normal happy little Kayden self! We took him into his follow up appointment and the doctor was amazed at how much different he was today then yesterday. He was a smiley, happy little baby...

As for his big toe... We are going to give it the weekend and soak it in warm water 6-10 times a day for 10-15 minutes before we give him anti-biotics. If by Monday it isn't better.... We will start the meds.... YUCK!! ("GET BETTER TOE")!!

Rough week

Kayden finally got his shots yesterday (2 month)... Yeah im almost a month late on getting them!! Shame on me... anyways, I thought it was the saddest thing ever.. Until today! We had to take him to the doctor b/c the last 3 days he has been throwing up really bad and hasn't add a bowel movement in 48 hours... AND he has a stinking infection in his big left toe... almost like he has an ingrown toe nail. He has cried for the last 2 days almost non stop.. and for those of you that know Kayden... It's not like him at all! Today the mean nurses had to poke and prod him in both arms and in both feet for blood samples... He literally screamed for 2 hours straight.

Here are some pics... Miss all of ya in Monticello! Hope you stay warm this winter!

~OK OK OK... Here is an update~ FINALLY!!

So I know it has been a LONG time since I have updated the blog. Let me tell you a little on what has went on.... Kirk and I went to Matt and Traci's wedding and we stayed with Angie and Steve. Sunday morning we got up and read the paper and there was a job in there so instead of driving all the way back to Monticello we decided to stay and Kirk went and applied for the job on Monday. We then went back to Monticello and had our hearts set on moving to SLC b/c it was inbetween the 2 families. We were on our way to Moab on that next Thursday to suprise Lou for her 70 birthday (A.C., Debbie and Gay came down) when Kirk got a call from the company he applied with for an interview. We decided to turn around and pack some cloths (2 days worth) so we could haul butt up to SLC after a nice dinner at Pasta J's. We arrived in SLC around 11 pm. The next morning kirk went to his interview while I looked in the paper for a place to live. We decided to go around and look at a few places and were only to find some places for around $1200. We did go look at one that was $700 bucks... but if you know SLC... You get what you pay for and $700 isn't much....! After getting all pissy we decided to call it a day and continue our search the next day. Well yet again another discouraging day... Saturday came and we went and looked at a couple of homes out in the "North 40" of West Jordan. By this time Kirk and I were so upset at each other that he said lets just go to Twin and look. So 2 pm in the afternoon... We packed up our stuff and hit the highway. We suprised my parents (of course my mom bawled like a baby)... We took it easy the rest of the day saturday and enjoyed sunday with my family while reading the sunday newspaper. We came across a couple of places in the paper... one being a house the other a duplex and we decided to called. We went and looked at the house and OMG!! 3 bachlors had been living there (PARTY ANIMALS) and it STUNK of beer and needed about $15K worth of remodeling and and stuff to be fixed and the lady thought she was going to get $800 and a $800 deposit... GOOD LUCK!! We came and looked at the duplex and instantly fell in LOVE. It is a 1600 s.q. ft house with a 1 car garage and a fenced in back yard. It is on a quiet street here in Kimberly only 5 blocks from my parents. I am sorry about not updating the blog but the last 2 weeks have been... yes im going to say it... PURE HELL!! But we are settling in nicely and have gotten back to normal. LOVE AND MISS EVERYONE!!

I forgot to mention... We came back to Idaho to 18" of snow in Burley and 5 1/2 in Kimberly... HOLY CRAPOLA!!

Enjoy the new pics...
