As most of you know we had our newest addition, Gavyn Juan Hadley! He was born Wednesday, September 1, 2010 @ 1:40 PM. He was 8 lbs. 7 oz and 19.5" long! I was scheduled to be induced that morning @ 5:30, but Gavyn decided he was not going to let mommy have PIT. He was going to come out on his OWN. So @ 6 AM my contractions started on their own. I labored for a few hours and my contractions weren't staying consistent so they started the PIT. I tried to tough it out this time but I couldn't and opted for the epidural. Went from a 5 to a 9.5 in 30 minutes, but then there were some complications.... The epidural decided to creep past where it was supposed to! I started having a hard time breathing and was starting to pass out! I was numb clear up into my neck! I started panicking and my heart rate shot up.... By blood pressure was really low (which is a side effect of having the epidural). So I demanded that they turn the epidural OFF and by the time it was time to push I could feel the contractions and felt MUCH better (not like I was going to DIE). With only 20 minutes of pushing... out came a beautiful baby boy! Only one thing went wrong during the delivery... His clavicle bone (collar bone) broke! It was the most loudest POP I have ever heard! HORRIBLE! But he is healing nicely and has almost FULL mobility of his arm. Sorry aunt Debbie it has been so long since we have updated with pictures :( FINALLY have the laptop working so there will be plenty of new updates.

Other GREAT news is.... KIRK is now working DAYS!! YAY! He started yesterday and absolutely LOVES IT! Says he feels like a normal human working normal hours. He didn't have as much trouble going to sleep last night as he did the night before. He didn't go to bed till 11:30 and had to be up @ 3:30 AM. NOT SO MUCH! Last night he was snoring on the couch by 8:15pm and thank goodness b/c he got called @ 2:30 AM to come into work early cuz they had too much milk @ the dairy! LOL thank goodness it is his short week and he only had to work yesterday and today... Now we have the weekend off together as a family and have a TON of stuff to do!
Loving the new house! Finally getting some things up on the walls. Feeling like a home now. Going to start painting as soon as we can. Starting with our bedroom and Kayden's bedroom! Ours is an ugly (NOT to offend those that like) BLUE!! I am not a huge fan of blue and the color that is in there is hideous! Same with Kayden's room... Not my first choice in a blue color.
