February is National Marfan Awareness Month

My heart was overwhelmed with sorrow and happiness all at the same time this morning after reading my cousin Amber's blog (The McDonald Family). My little cousin Tylar has Marfan syndrome.

Today we took Kayden to his check up and HOLY COW! He weighs 17 lbs 2 oz and is 25 3/4 in long! Amazing change from 6 lbs 13 oz and 19 in long only 6 months ago! I can't believe how time flies! Hope all is well with everyone! Hugs and kisses from us!

Riley's BIG GAME

Milestones~

Kayden amazes me each and every day. When we were down in Monticello he had discovered his tongue and it was funnier than anything I had ever seen. :) He had also started rolling around A LOT more and turning circles. Grandpa Hansen says he is going to be a Nascar driver because he only turns to the left... LOL He had also tried putting his knee's up underneath him while we were down there.

When we first got back to Idaho, Kayden had a little bit of the "stranger anxiety". He wasn't too keen on my mom or dad. And anyone that spoke to him... He would scream. Thank goodness it only took a couple of days for him to get use to them again. He has accomplished getting his knees fully underneath him and rocking back and forth while also trying to lunge forward. HOLY CRAP it is so funny! My little baby boy is going to be crawling before I know it :( He has also been saying mama... IT IS SO STINKING CUTE! Made Kirk jealous that he said mama before he said dada... hahahaha! What can I say he is a mama's boy. Anywho just wanted to give ya'll a little update on how Kayden is doing.

~6 MONTHS OLD~

I can't believe our little boy is 6 MONTHS old today! It doesn't seem like it has been a half of year since our little boy was born! TIME FLIES!! :(
