Finally... A beautiful day!

There was finally another nice day to get out to mow the lawn and start weeding the back yard. Didn't get as much accomplished as I would have liked to, but definitely put a really good dent in it.

Kayden was such a big helper! He walked beside me while I mowed the lawn *pushing his bubble mower*, he threw my piles of weeds away and helped me hand till the dirt with the little shovels in the raspberry bush bed.

Gavyn was a trooper also! He watched as he ate snacks and sucked on his binki while in his walker. LOL He started to whine a little as I was pulling weeds *he was jealous b/c big brother was running around playing at that time* so I put him in the grass next to me. He hesitated for about the first 10 minutes, then sucked it up and realized crawling in the grass wasn't so bad :D

Easter Bunny came!

Yesterday, Kirk had to work :( so he missed out on Easter with the family. The kids and I went to Hagerman to celebrate Easter. Well, there was a downpour and I stayed all of about 10 minutes. It was also cold! I wasn't about to keep Kayden and Gavyn out in it (even though Kayden was having a blast). They are both just getting over being sick and I do NOT want anymore sickness. I extended an invitation for everyone to come back to our house to celebrate. Lets just say it didn't take anyone too long to start packing everything up.

We all (about 25-30 of us) came back to the dry, comfort and warmth of our house. This definitely made me realize that Kirk and I need a bigger house (living room and kitchen at least). It was so much fun though. After about 2 hours the clouds cleared, it warmed up and we were able to get our Easter egg hunt on! Around 200-250 eggs in our back yard! It was AWESOME!! The kids had so much fun!

The Easter Bunny decided to hide one of the presents for Kayden. Daddy got home from work and found it in the garage. Kayden loved it!

Thursday we colored Easter eggs and Kayden had a BLAST! He thought he was pretty cool cuz he put the eggs in the cups all by himself. Lets say a few were wounded in action and 1 tragedy!

I can't believe in 3 months my baby boy is going to be 3!! It seems like yesterday I was pregnant with him... Then in 4 months my little baby Gavy is going to be ONE!! Where does the time go?? I am so thankful and feel very blessed each and every day that I am able to stay home with my little ones and watch them grow into these fun little beings!

I have to add a couple of photos of the dog... I attempted to "groom/cut" him and lets just say, it's worth the $25 to take him to the groomer! That's why they are "Professionals"!

Kayden and Gavyn's Blessing Day

Kirk and I have found a Ward that we absolutely LOVE! We feel so blessed that we have come so far and that we have our Heavenly Father back in our daily lives. Our boys were blessed into the church on Saturday, April 16, 2011.

Kayden cried the whole entire time that his grandpa Milo was blessing him. It was still very spiritual and I was extremely proud of him for sitting there until it was time to get up.

Gavyn did very well while grandpa Juan blessed him. He didn't even make a peep one time.

Kirk and I felt so blessed and thankful for all of those that came. We had quiet a turn out. It was so nice to see Kirk's step-brother Allen and his family. We were so thankful that Kirk's mom and dad could travel so far and stay a few days with us to attend. Wish we were closer to all of his family.

A day at The Falls

We went out and enjoyed a beautiful day at Twin Falls Falls and Shoshone Falls while Juan and Lou Ann were here. I forgot the camera when we stopped at Twin Falls Falls, so I don't get to share that experience. This was a lot of fun! I haven't seen the Falls flowing this much since about 4 years ago. It was amazing! Here are some pics...
